In the year 2000 a bible college student was driving back from work on the 5 freeway and was in a terrible accident that ended his life. During the funeral services as his older brother ministered to their friends and family, the mother of the two boys, who was also has involved in ministry and now currently is the Senior Pastor of CMC church in Hacienda Heights Californai Pastor Gloria Valencia received the vision of beginning a Bible Academy that would serve to equip future Christians for the work of the Lord in memory of her son Steven Vidal.

Our vision at CROWN is to encourage those that feel the call into ministry by preparing them through formal Christian Education. Our programs at CROWN are tailor made for those that are currently in ministry and developing their full potential in the Lord. We would love to partner together in advancing the Kingdom of God. Our professors will not just teach knowledge but also impart the Holy Spirit to ignite the gifting you will need to fulfill your calling.
From the Greek name Στεφανος (Stephanos) meaning "CROWN", more precisely "that which surrounds". STEPHAN in the New Testament was a leader & deacon who was stoned to death, as written in the book of Acts. He is regarded as the first Christian martyr. Due to him, the name became common in the Christian world. (Acts Chapter 7)

Steven Vidal was a youth leader in his local church with a passion to disciple the young people in their new Christian life. He was dedicated to preach the Word of God and speak the message of hope in Christ. Steven had just graduated Wilson High School class of '00 and was in his first year in Latin America Bible Institute at the time of the accident. Through his loss many that attended the multiple funeral services came to accept Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Help us honor him and keep his Legacy continuing by answering the call of God to prepare yourself for your ministry.
